Hello & welcome,

We are very excited to have you join our musical family!

At the Merimbula School of Music we offer the opportunity for students to engage with & deepen their relationship with music. Creating music is a deeply gratifying experience & our goal is to help musicians of all ages to celebrate the joy that it brings. We are proud to offer a safe creative space for everyone & strive to bring our community closer together through music. From Chopsticks to Chopin, Slayer to Snoop Dogg, no genre is out of bounds!

Where to come:

We are located just above the Newsagency on Market St. Merimbula. There are doors on either side of the building & parking is available near the waterfront or round the back near the public toilet block.

On your first lesson:

Please make yourself at home in the waiting areas & your teacher will introduce themselves. Parents are, of course, welcome to sit in on lessons but in our experience, most students build rapport with their teacher & learn more effectively without parental presence.

Student's are to bring their own instrument, or if beginners, they can use one available at the school until their own instrument can be arranged. If you need any help selecting the best instrument, please get in touch with us or chat to your teacher at their lesson.
